Reality TV star Joey Essex will return to Castleford tomorrow (Thursday) to open a new trampoline park at the Xscape leisure complex.
Joey, who won this year’s Channel 4 winter sport celebrity competition The Jump, will open Gravity - a new facility with more than 90 trampolines.
It will be his second visit to Xscape after he opened Volcano Falls adventure golf there in February last year.
Joey, who starred in reality show The Only Way is Essex, will arrive at around 4pm and try out the new facility for himself.
He will also enjoy a show from a professional trampolining troupe.
Gravity, which opened two weeks ago, has created 30 jobs and attracted more than 20,000 visitors over the school half-term break.
Michael Harrison, from Gravity, said: “The venue is ideally suited to our needs and our initial two weeks of trading has been phenomenal.”
Joey, 24, has also appeared on ITV2’s Celebrity Juice and also travelled to South Africa last year to film Educating Joey.
Speaking on his visit to Xscape last year he said: “I love coming to Yorkshire. I love the accent, I think it’s quite quirky.”
He was greeted by hundreds of screaming fans when he took to the slopes at the centre.
He added: “I didn’t expect there to be so many people here to be honest.
“I would like to say thanks to everyone for coming down. It was lovely to see them all. I’m 100 per cent certain I’ll be back.”
