Hundreds of screaming fans greeted reality TV star Joey Essex when he returned to Castleford to open a new trampoline park.
Joey, who starred in ITV reality show The Only Way is Essex, opened Gravity - a new facility with more than 90 trampolines at the Xscape entertainment complex last Thursday.
He walked through the centre before enjoying a show from a professional trampoline troupe. He also tried out the new centre for himself.
Gravity, which opened three weeks ago, has created 30 jobs and attracted more than 20,000 visitors during the February half-term school break.
Michael Harrison, from Gravity, said: “The venue is ideally suited to our needs and our initial two weeks of trading was phenomenal.”
Joey, 24, who has also appeared on ITV2’s Celebrity Juice and also travelled to South Africa last year to film Educating Joey.
He was also crowned the winner of Channel 4 winter sport competition The Jump last month.
Joey said: “I love coming to Yorkshire. I love the accent I think it’s quite quirky.
“I didn’t expect there to be so many people here to be honest.
“I would like to say thanks to everyone for coming down. It was lovely to see them all.”
