Roadworks could cause disruption for motorists next week.

In Normanton there will be temporary lights on Church Road between Parker Avenue and Hillcrest on Wednesday, July 24, and Thursday, July 25.

Gas maintenance works could cause delays for people travelling along Dale Street, in Ossett, until next weekend.

There will be temporary lights in place between the junctions with Church Street and Pildacre Lane.

Motorists will be unable to turn left onto Church Street from Dale Street. And there will be no right turn from Church Street onto Dale Street.

Diversions will be in place.

Gas maintenance works are also taking place on Ferry Lane in Stanley.

There will be temporary lights on the road until Sunday, July 28.

In the city centre, Lee Street will be closed until October 26 due to work at the Town Hall.

Diversions are in place.

On Dewsbury road the carriage way will be narrowed between the junctions of Broadway and Neville Road for the next 16 weeks.

This is due to a new housing development being constructed.

A temporary walkway for pedestrians is also in place.

North Avenue will also be closed from Wednesday until Friday, August 30, due to resurfacing.

Diversions have been put in place.

Work to upgrade signals on Westgate will close the road at the junction with Plumpton Road during off peak hours from Sunday, July 27 until Sunday, August 4.

Lanes on Ings Road will be closed on Wednesday, July 24, during off peak hours while improvements are carried out to street lights.

In Wrenthorpe there will be temporary lights on Bradford Road, near the railway bridge, from Tuesday, July 23, to Monday, July 29.
