Temporary lights will be in place near the water tower on Bar Lane, in Midgley, today and on Monday, for footpath works.

Temporary lights will be in place on Castlegate, in Stanley, on Thursday for a bridge inspection.

George Street, Smyth Street, Westgate, Marygate, Bull Ring, Westmorland Street and Northgate will be closed on Thursday for a Freedom of the City parade.

Temporary lights will be in place on Thornes Lane, outside number 141, from Monday until Friday.

And Lee Street, in the city centre, will remain closed until the end of October.
