Roadworks to cause lane closures on motorways

One lane of the M1 will be closed in both directions between junction 39 (Durkar) to junction 42 (Lofthouse).

The lane will be closed from tonight (Monday) until Sunday February 9.

There will also be narrower lanes and a 50mph speed limit in place until Autumn 2015.

The southbound exit slip road at junction 40 (Ossett) will be closed for five nights from tonight, with a signed diversion via junction 39.

Various other overnight slip road, lane and carriageway closures may also be in place.

Lane closures will also occur on the M62 between junction 30 (Rothwell) and junction 31 (Normanton).

Various lanes will be closed this week in both directions due to electrical works.

The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am.

All lanes closures could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
