Fiona Day, hospice fundraising co-ordinator, said: “Before they set off participants enjoyed hot chocolate and home-made goodies and got into the festive spirit by requesting their favourite Christmas tunes from local DJ John Clayton.

“The hospice anticipates that around £4,000 will have been raised from the morning’s fun. The event was kindly sponsored by Xplore and Laser Zone.

“Thank you to everyone who turned out to enjoy the event and support the hospice.”
