Share your thoughts on City Fields masterplan

A masterplan for the City Fields development is going on display this weekend.

And people are invited to view and comment on the proposals, which include 2,500 new homes, parks, shops and business premises.

The development will be created on land near to the 5.5km Wakefield Eastern Relief Road linking Aberford Road and Doncaster Road, which is currently under construction.

“So I’d like to encourage residents and business people to have a look and share their views with us.”

An initial masterplan was produced in 2013. The latest masterplan provides more detail on the scheme.

People can view the proposals at St Peter’s Church Hall on Kirkthorpe Lane from 3pm to 7pm today and at St Swithuns Community Centre from 1pm until 5pm tomorrow.

And they can share their views by calling 01924 306630 or by emailing [email protected].
