SLIDESHOW: Family’s Tour De Paris cycling challenge

A family are cycling from London to Paris to raise money for Wakefield Junior Triathlon Club (WJTC).

Tim and Sarah Hobbs and their sons Ben, 12, and Toby 7, set off on the ride last Saturday and are due to reach their final destination of Notre Dame tomorrow.

The family from Ossett, are aiming to raise £1,000 for the triathlon club to buy new equipment,

Mrs Hobbs said: “We’re just one day away from reaching Paris and yes, so far, it’s been challenging but it has gone well.

“Ben and Toby are both members of the club and although the club has some fantastic volunteer coaches, they are in desperate need of equipment as the club is growing rapidly.

“We’re raising £1,000 to Buy wet suits, bikes and turbo trainers for Wakefield Junior Triathlon Club because this is what our future Olympic triathletes need.”
