Speeders targeted in clampdown after complaints from residents

Officers were called to Stranglands Lane on Thursday to target vehicles.

Although no fines were handed out, several drivers were pulled over.

A spokesman said: “A number of vehicles were marginally over the limit, the drivers were spoken too and advice regards road safety 
was provided in the first instance.

“Regular Speed checks will continue.”
