Strictly ballroom as Ed takes to the dance floor
And this weekend, former Morley and Outwood MP Ed Balls will be strutting his stuff in the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom for the live shows.
The programme’s bosses revealed the dances and songs the 15 contestants would be taking on, earlier this week.

Hide AdFormer shadow chancellor Mr Balls will perform the Waltz to ‘Are You Lonesome Tonight’ by Elvis Presley.
Writing for the Radio Times Strictly issue this week, Mr Balls said: “On Strictly, I’ve been plunged straight in at the deep end, and it is very much sink or swim.”
He added: “With the first live show fast approaching, I’m once more teetering on the edge. But I know there’s nothing to be done except to take a bold step forward.”
The live shows begin tonight on BBC One at 9pm and continue tomorrow at 6.30pm.
