Thousands expected at annual Wakefield Pride event
Thousands of people are expected in the city for next month’s Wakefield Pride event.
The event which celebrates the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities. takes place on Sunday, August 10,
There will be a family fun day at The Rainbow pub, on Lower Warrengate, from noon to 9pm on the day, with stalls and entertainment.

Hide AdThe event will also see other events held at venues across the city centre, including the New Union on Southgate and the Rainbow pub.
There will be live music, stalls, entertainment throughout the day.
