Closed slip road on M1 causing rush-hour traffic problems
Rush-hour traffic is backing up on the M1 because of a crash on a slip road.
A collision occurred earlier on the northbound exit slip road at J42, Lofthouse, where the motorway meets the M62, and the slip road is now fully closed.
Traffic officers are at the scene and dealing with the traffic.
Around three miles of traffic is being reported backing up past Carr Gate.
