Overnight closures planned for M62 at Ferrybridge as carriageway upgrade work continues

Highways England have confirmed a number of slip road closures close to junction 33, as part of ongoing work to upgrade the motorway and adjoining A162.

Work on site began last month and is expected to continue until Saturday, March 14. This week's closures will be as follows:

The A162 northbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight on Monday, February 24 , while the southbound exit and entry slip roads are to be closed overnight for three nights from Friday, February 28.

The M62 junction 33 eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight tonight (Monday, February 24), while the entry slip road will be fully closed overnight for three nights from Friday, February 28.

The east side of the M62 junction 33 roundabout will be closed overnight for three night from Friday, February 28, while the westbound exit slip will be closed overnight for three nights for the same period.

The westbound entry slip will be fully closed overnight tonight, to allow for barrier work and carriageway improvements.

Overnight closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow diversion routes. The roundabout and all approaches will have a 40mph speed restriction, with 24/7 lane restrictions until work is completed next month.
