Road closures and roundabout restrictions on M62 at Ferrybridge

The M62 at Ferrybridge will close for several nights this week, Highways England have confirmed.

A number of road closures, including roundabouts and slip roads, will be in place while barrier work and carriageway improvements are carried out.

The eastbound entry slip at junction 33 will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday, February 18, and again for four nights from Thursday, February 20. The exit slip will also be fully closed overnight for two nights from Wednesday, February 19.

The west side of the roundabout at junction 33 will also be closed overnight on Wednesday, February 19, followed by a closure of the east side on Tuesday, February 18 and a further four nights from Thursday, February 20.

The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight on Tuesday, February 18 and then again for four nights from Thursday, February 20. The westbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Wednesday, February 19.

The closure will take place from 8pm to 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A 40mph speed restriction will be in place on the junction 33 roundabout, with lane closures from Friday, February 21 to March.

The A162 northbound exit and entry slip road will be closed overnight for two nights from Wednesday 19 February. The A162 southbound exit and entry slip will be closed overnight on Tuesday 18 February and then again for four nights from Thursday 20 February.
