Temporary traffic lights to be in place on major Wakefield road
Delays are expected as roadworks begin on a major Wakefield road this morning.
Northern Gas Networks are carrying out work on Doncaster Road, Crofton, close to the junction with Slack Lane.
During the work, which is expected to last almost two weeks, more than 140 metres of pipe will be replaced.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place while the work is carried out.
The work began today, Monday, June 8, and will continue until Friday, June 19.
