Arriva’s regional managing director Nigel Featham said: “This really is a no strings attached offer, you don’t need a voucher or a promotional code, just turn up between the advertised times and you’ll pay absolutely nothing. We want as many people as possible to get out and about this bank holiday, and what better way than trying the new link into Wakefield on our new MAX buses, with free WIFI, comfortable seating and our travel app right at your fingertips.”

The limited offer has been rolled out as part of the firm’s expansion of its 268 bus route.
