Travellers set up camp in Stanley
Travellers have set up camp on a council site in Stanley.
Seven caravans moved onto the field on Lime Pit Lane on Wednesday.
Wakefield Council’s service director for environment and streetscene Glynn Humphries said: “Seven traveller caravans moved onto a council field at Lime Pit Lane in Stanley.
“We are looking into this and we will take enforcement action as soon as possible.”
