SHOPPERS are rejoicing after the ribbon was cut on the city’s new £210m centre today.
Wakefield Wildcats star Glenn Morrison was among the guests who opened Trinity Walk in front of hundreds of excited punters.
Chris Geaves, director of the scheme’s developers Sovereign Land, said the launch had been a huge success.
He said: “It has been a momentous day, a great celebration of 15 months’ extremely hard work. It has been absolutely rammed with shoppers, which is marvellous.
“We are now looking forward to things settling down and the other retailers opening.”
