The M62 motorway has re-opened following a serious smash between a lorry and a tanker.
It happened at 12.42pm at junction 27 Chain Bar today.
The westbound carriageway has been fully re-opened.
Two lanes of the eastbound carriageway remain closed but the third lane has been opened.
All lanes are expected to be open by 5.30pm but drivers should expect delays until the congestion eases.
Police closed the motorway after the incident to allow the Air Ambulance to land.
The driver of the tanker had to be cut out by West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Traffic congestion backed up to junction 29 at Lofthouse and buses around the city were also delayed by up to 20 minutes.
