UPDATE: Man to appear in court over Wakefield bus theft
A man is due to appear before magistrates this morning (Tuesday) charged with stealing a bus from Wakefield’s Arriva depot.
The 34-year-old has been charged with two counts of aggravated vehicle taking, one count of vehicle taking, driving whilst disqualified, driving whilst over the prescribed limit and not having valid insurance.
The charges relate to an incident where a bus was stolen from the depot on Barnsley Road, Wakefield, on Sunday. The man will appear before Wakefield and Pontefract Magistrates’ Court.
