UPDATE - Water supplies restored after burst main on Denby Dale Road
One lane remains closed on Denby Dale Road in Wakefield after a burst water main this morning (Friday).
The burst left more than 3,500 properties without water and caused lengthy delays for motorists.
A Yorkshire Water spokesman said: “There is one lane still closed on the outbound side of the A636 but all the rest of the lanes on the inbound and outbound are reopen.
“I can also confirm that all the homes affected now have their water supply back up and running.”
