VIDEO: Hospice’s heartfelt thanks to community for flood efforts

Bosses at Pontefract’s Prince of Wales Hospice have thanked the community for their help in battling last week’s floods.

A thunderstorm and torrential rain led to flash flooding across the Five Towns on Friday and put the hospice’s kitchen facilities out of use.

Around 100 people from across the area rushed to the hospice and helped with the clean up over the weekend.
