VIDEO: Prince Charles visits Dovecote Park as he waits for news on royal baby

The Prince of Wales visited Dovecote Park near Pontefract this afternoon (Monday) as he waits for news on the birth of his first grandchild.

As interest in the royal baby focuses on St Mary’s Hospital, in London, Charles was welcomed by farmers and staff at Dovecote Park in Stapleton this afternoon as part of a two-day tour of Yorkshire.

He also had a tour of the facility and unveiled a plaque in the restaurant.

Charles also visited the National Railway Museum in York and viewed the museum’s collection of royal carriages.

The first day of his tour finishes with a reception for Prince’s Trust supporters at Harewood House, near Leeds this evening (Monday).
