VIDEO: TOWIE star Joey Essex opens new adventure golf centre at Xscape

The Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex went back to the jungle today (Thursday) when he officially opened a new adventure golf course in Glass Houghton.

Joey, who starred in last year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, was greeted by hundreds of screaming fans at the opening of Volcano Falls at the Xscape Yorkshire complex.

The 18-hole mini golf features a waterfall, a volcano and a T-rex dinosaur.

James Miller, from Volcano Falls, said: “We wanted to open in Xscape Yorkshire because their visitors range from four to 70-year-old and that’s exactly what it offers – entertainment for any age group.

“It was great to have Joey officially open the facility.”
