VIDEO: Wakefield Lit Fest preview - Thursday, September 26

Poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy will perform poems and music as part of today’s Wakefield Lit Fest.

She will be joined by John Sampson at Merchant Gate from 6pm.

Other events include children’s story time and an evening with comedy writer David Nobbs at The Orangery, on Back Lane.

A Wakefield Hospice pre-loved book sale will also take place at Merchant Gate sales office, from 5pm.
