VIDEO: Youngsters to rub shoulders with top acts
Two school bands will take to the stage in front of thousands of music fans next weekend after winning a spot at Pontefract’s Crooked Ways festival.
Thirteen-year-olds Meghan Smith, Bethany Howlett and Keavy Stanley, who make up Airedale Academy’s band 3G, and Hemsworth’s Chemical Child won the right to rub shoulders with top acts after winning awards at the Battle of the Bands competition hosted by West Yorkshire Police.
