Approximately 20 vintage buses and coaches will come out of retirement on Sunday, July 12, operating free services across the City.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “Some 3,500 passenger journeys were enjoyed last year so why not come for a ride back in time.

Profits from the day will go to Wakefield Hospice.

“Dozens of classic cars, motorcycles and commercials will provide a spectacular not to be missed.”

One of this year’s entrants is this very rare Renault bus. It was new in 1988 but is the only one of its type left in the country.
