Wakefield Bikeathon returns to the city next week.
The annual fundraiser, organised by the Wakefield branch of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, will see hundreds of cyclists ride either a 26-mile or 12-mile route from Kettlethorpe.
All proceeds from the event will go to the blood cancer charity.
The main route follows country roads through Crigglestone, passing Stag Royd wood, then up through Woolley village before heading back down to Kettlethorpe through Newmillerdam.
A shorter 12-mile route will be on offer for children and families.
Last year more than 100 people raised £4,000 for charity.
Entry before the end of today (Friday) is £10 for adults, £3 for 16s and under or £20 for a family ticket of four. Entry on the day will be £15 for adults and £5 children. Family tickets will be £30.
The bikeathon will start from Kettlethorpe High School, Standbridge Lane, at 10am on Sunday, October 6.
