Coun Sandra Pickin, the council’s Armed Forces champion, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Armed Forces Week again this year with a spectacular free family event at Nostell Priory. The day is part of our ongoing campaign to honour and support service families and to help service personnel settle back into civilian life.

“We are proud to be hosting this event and hope many people come along to enjoy these events and show their support for our Armed Forces - past, present and future.”
