Wakefield district given £600,000 to cut crime
The cash comes from a national pot of £5.29m to cut crime and disorder, substance misuse and youth offending.
West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner Mark Burns-Williamson has allocated £612,464 to the Wakefield district to support his Crime and Policing Plan.
The grant is 20 per cent down on last year.

“Next year I will be focussed on making sure I have a clear offer and approach that will help me and our partners in achieving our shared aim that communities are and feel safe.”
