Saturday night was party night for many retailers across the city as they celebrated their successes at the first ever Wakefield Retail Awards.
Hosted by retail guru Claire Raynor, and sponsored by the Ridings, Trinity Walk and the City Centre Partnership, the awards scheme was designed to put the spotlight on Wakefield’s independent and national outlets.
And while many deserving store owners and managers walked off with the trophies, everyone who was short listed or highly commended at the event in The Space enjoyed their night.
We will bring you all the photographs and feedback from the event in this Friday’s Express.
