Wakefield Wildcats super fan tackles meal with players
A Wakefield Trinity Wildcats fan had a whale of time after winning a meal with players Danny Kirmond and Nick Scruton.
Super fan Catherine Wilkinson, from Wakefield, won a meal for four at the Wetherby Whaler with Wildcats captain Danny Kirmond and Nick ‘Scrutes’ Scruton after entering a competition on the Wetherby Whaler website.
Catherine, who has been a season ticket holder for 11 years, took her brother, nephew, and friend for the meal. She said: “Danny Kirmond is one of my favourite Wildcat players so to have him at the meal really is the icing on the cake, or should I say batter on the fish.”
