Walk, skip, jog, run in Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life Thornes Park Wakefield

Are you running in the Race for Life taking place at Thornes Park on Sunday (tomorrow)?

The 10k and 5k event takes place on Sunday, setting of at 10.30am.

The women-only events are run in partnership with Tesco and take place across the country to raise funds for Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading cancer charity.

In 2013, 2,000 women took part in the Race for Life in Wakefield and raised £100,000.

This year, the start line is on the field closest to the Horbury Road entrance, opposite the athletics stadium.
