Lorna Rishi, who has worked for the NHS for 27 years, posted the video of staff dancing to Don't Stand So Close To Me by The Police, on social media with the hope to make people smile but to also send an important message to its audience.

Lorna said: “We had 10 minutes of fun and just made the video, we wanted to show that it is not all doom and gloom.

The team were inspired by other wards taking part across the country and decided to join in the fun with only four test-runs before making and posting the video.

“It is an absolute horrendous time," Lorna said.

"It's hard for everyone - it's scary for our patients and for us.

“Stay at home and stay safe. We know it's a tough time. It's not just the NHS on the frontline.

“It's all those who are still working in the supermarkets, delivery drivers - everyone.”
