Members of Fit Together, Ossett, attended Alfie’s street to sing him happy birthday after his mum, Bekki, took to social media to request the mystery Mr Incredible.

The family had seen Andy Freeman running around Ossett dressed as Mr Incredible and reached out to him to see if they could pay a visit on his special day.

The superheroes and all the neighbours took to the street to sing Alfie happy birthday to cheer him up after his party was cancelled .

“It is difficult to come up with alternative ideas, it was overwhelming that everyone's generosity is unreal.

“Everyone coming together to help strangers is amazing.” Phil said.

Fit Together are raising funds for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice and the family along with the guests who were to attend Alfie’s party donated to the charity raising over £110.

“He didn’t need his friends at his party, it was made up with Andy, I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

“It’s nice to put a smile on peoples faces and to focus on things we can change.”
