WEATHER UPDATE - Wintry showers and sunny spells for Sunday

The Met Office said there would be a cold and frosty start to the day with showers affecting most of West Yorkshire throughout the day.

It said the showers are expected to turn to rain through the day with some sunny spells. The maximum temperature for Sunday is 5°C.

Overnight, there will be a widespread ground frost as temperatures fall as low as -4°C.
