Woman dragged from scooter and assaulted
A woman was dragged from her motor scooter and assaulted while parked up at the side of the road.
Two men approached her at around 4.30pm on Monday, April 4.
She was sat on the scooter at Westfield Road, Hemsworth, close to the junction with Mayfield Place.
The men dragged her off the bike and assaulted her, leaving her with injuries to her face.
They then sped off on the scooter towards Wakefield Road.
Inspector Geoff Carter of the South East NPT said: “This is a serious offence, with the risk of harm to the rider being obvious.”
