How about £100 per shift to get a good night’s sleep?

Bed manufacturer Sealy is looking a for a “sleep ambassador” to try out its range of beds, pillows, duvets and sleep aids.

Sealy’s “sleep expert” Neil Robinson said: “This really is the ultimate job for the person who loves to snooze, and we are literally paying someone to ‘sleep on the job’.

“While undoubtedly it is a fun position, we do view this as an important job and we will be using our applicant to provide valuable feedback into our products, as well as debunking sleep myths. We can’t wait to start interviewing!”

Hundreds of applications, from Plymouth to Inverness, have already been received and the role will begin March 28.

The total package is worth £2,500, which breaks down to £100 per sleep spanning 10 sleeps, and also involves testing Sealy products, sleep-enhancing diets and lifestyles.

The successful applicant can be based anywhere in the UK and no experience is required.
