Letter - Time to clean up teenage clowns outside Wakefield Cathedral

I feel I have to write again about what was once our beautiful city.

I have said my bit in the past about the state of the market area. But today I write about the teenagers who stand in front of the Cathedral all day and most of the night and the litter they leave behind. The community police seem to walk the other side to keep out the way. Anyone visiting the city for the first time will want to look round the Cathedral but, on seeing and hearing the clowns, will turn around and go.

I would let the fire brigade practise with the water cannon - it is time our city was cleaned up.
