Letter - What a great time to be supporting the Wakefield Wildcats

What a great time it is now to support the Wildcats.

We have a coach in Richard Agar who has assembled a team of players from scratch who were nearly all cast offs from other clubs.

He has moulded them into a team with a great never say die spirit and because of his excellent coaching skills we now look like a proper team.

Well done Richard Agar.

I have watched both the under 19s and under 16s this season and although I can’t see too much in the under 19s, the under 16s are a team that excite me very much.

I have watched all three games this season against Hull KR, Sheffield and Featherstone and they have put over 50 points on the board in all three.

Supporters should take a look.

I know that under 16 head coach Dave Winter who was scholarship manager and under 18 coach Castleford Tigers before coming to us has put in a lot of work with these lads over the last two seasons and it certainly shows.

He is a great asset to our club and our young talent is in good hands. Well done Dave Winter.

I would also say a big thank you to chairman Andrew Glover for saving the club from possible disaster, it is greatly appreciated by us supporters and any future success will stem from his generosity.

Well done Andrew Glover.

Well done to everyone at the club. Keep it up.
