Lives are at risk

I am dismayed to hear that the council wants to cut back on school crossing patrols, where children’s lives would be at risk.

I know for certain that there have been several near misses in the last two weeks outside Snapethorpe School, Broadway. I am also concerned as to why the council does not sell the properties that are no longer in use, ie Waterton Road School on Lupset estate which has stood empty for a period of two years?

The outside lights are still burning! A waste of public money surely?
