Outwood Grange Academy’s all-conquering Year 11 rugby league team will look to add the Yorkshire Schools’ Cup to their trophy cabinet when they take on local rivals Castleford Academy in the final at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium tonight (kick-off 6.30pm).

Outwood, one of the most successful teams in the entire country over recent seasons, are set to include a number of Wakefield Wildcats scholars in their line-up to play on their home turf.

Max Jowitt, who excelled for the England Youth team earlier this year, is expected to be among the talented Wildcats youngsters involved.

The Year 11 girls’ final will also take place tonight at 5.30pm with Castleford Academy again represented when they take on Huntington School from York.

Entry for tonight’s final double-header is priced £3 for adults and £1 for juniors and concessions.
