WAKEFIELD brothers Corey and Alexander Chan were on court with some of the world’s best tennis players as ball boys at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals last week.

The duo from Walton beat off competition from 2,500 other children to achieve selection for the tournament at the O2 Arena, where they were part of the 30-strong ball boy team that went on court in front of 35,000 spectators a day.

Corey, 16, and Alexander, 14, shared the court with world number one Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and winner Roger Federer and also got to meet other sports stars including Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand.

Corey said: “The week was unbelievable and it is hard to find the words to describe it.

“It was really amazing seeing all of the top-eight players in the world but at the same time really tiring.
