Fire Service play two matches at Streethouse

A 50-over match between UK Fire Service and Durham Academy will be played on Wednesday, September 2 (11am start).

The Fire Service team will have representatives from the Isle of Wight, South Wales and other parts of the of the United Kingdom.

Durham will field a strong team with players well coached by Academy Director John Windows.

Some of the Durham youngsters have represented the England under 19s Academy so there will be plenty of talented players on show.

There is free admission to the game and spectators will be welcomed.

On Thursday (September 3), a Streethouse Select team will play the UK Fire Service in a 40-over match.

Admission will again be free for an annual fixture that invariably produces a close contest.
