Eastmoor Dragons will celebrate their 140th birthday by hosting a charity match against a past Wakefield Trinity Wildcats squad on Sunday (kick-off 2.30pm).

Billy Conway, Roy Southernwood, Allan Agar, Ryan Hudson and Richard Kelly are set to be amongst the Trinity squad in action at Eastmoor’s King George V playing fields in a match to raise funds for Wakefield Hospice and Wakefield Wildcats Community Trust.

Dragons played their first ever fixture against Trinity in February 1873, making this weekend’s match a fitting match for Dragons to celebrate their milestone.

The Eastmoor squad will be made up of a mix of first team players and players from outside the club who have made a donation to wear the shirt on the day.

Shirts are still available either just to buy or to play in the match at a minimum donation of £45. Contact Dave Roberts on 07586 351532 for more information.

Admission is free and there will be an auction, raffle, barbecue and refreshments available throughout the day.

Confirmed Trinity squad so far: Billy Conway, Andy Fisher, Michael Wainwright, Roy Southernwood, Mark Webster, Graham Law, Neil Law, Martin Law, Allan Agar, Nigel Stephenson, Colin Maskill, Jon Wray, Ryan Hudson, Jamie Field, Richard Kelly.
