OSSETT Albion progressed to the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round thanks to a 1-0 win over Farsley FC at Dimple Wells on Tuesday night.
Captain Adam Hayton scored the winner for the hosts in the second half with a sublime free-kick in a game of few chances.
The sides drew 1-1 at Throstle Nest on Saturday and a replay was required to see who'd travel to North Ferriby United in the next round.
Both goalkeepers were spectators for the first half with chances being few and far between.
Ryan Watson sent a header wide for the visitors after 15 minutes and on the half-hour mark Albion's first real chance of note came and went through Tom Corner.
Farsley's biggest threat came from set-pieces but Albion goalkeeper Adam Rhodes had little work to do in a quiet first half.
Chances continued to be at a premium on the resumption. The Farsley attacking pair of Gareth Grant and Adam Muller linked well to see the latter head over the bar in the 53rd minute while at the other end Corner struck a half volley over the woodwork.
The winner came with 15 minutes to go through Hayton. Darol Lucas was fouled on the edge of the box and the Albion skipper stepped up to float a pin-point free-kick over the wall and into the back of the net.
Farsley pushed hard for a leveller late on with skipper Mark Jackson having a header well saved by Rhodes but Albion clung on to progress into the next round.
