Late Leeds United legend Gary Speed will be remembered when Leeds United’s Development squad play a friendly at Colwyn bay tonight.

Speed’s parents, Roger and Carol, live in the north Wales area and will be presented to both teams before kick-off following an invite from Bay’s vice president John Martin, who was a friend of the former Wales captain and manager, who died in 2011.

He said: “Roger Speed is delighted to help as he was up and down to Leeds when Gary was young and has lot of affection for the club and also for us.”

Leeds coach Neil Redfearn will take a young Whites side to Llanelian Road for the friendly against the Skrill North side (kick-off 7.30pm).
