New deals have been offered to eight young professionals and two scholars. These include Kalvin Phillips and Lewis Walters who featured in first team squads towards the end of the season just finished.

But it is the decision not to offer a contract to powerful midfielder Austin that will be controversial for fans after he had another decent season and head coach Neil Redfearn expressed a wish for him to stay.

Meanwhile, there is no news yet on whether Leeds will try to keep any of their loan players, Sol Bamba, Granddi N’Goyi, Dario Del Fabro, Brian Montenegro, Zan Benedicic, Adryan & Edgar Cani.
