The tie is set to take place in the week beginning August 25 and will be United’s first visit to their neighbours’ Valley Parade ground since 2000 when Mark Viduka scored in a 1-1 draw in the Premier League.

Leeds last played the Bantams in the same competition in 2011 at Elland Road when winning 3-2 with Ramon Nunez on target twice to go with a Ross McCormack goal.

United booked their place in the second round with a 2-1 win at Elland Road over Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night.
