Leeds United youngsters team up with Blackwell

FORMER Leeds United manager Kevin Blackwell has been back to Elland Road to take two of the club’s talented teenagers on loan.

Blackwell, new manager of League One strugglers Bury, has signed Dominic Poleon and Zac Thompson on a month’s loan.

Striker Poleon and utility man Thompson, both 19, will stay at Gigg Lane for an initial period until November 17 with current Leeds boss Neil Warnock keen for both to get more senior experience.

Poleon made his senior debut for United in August and has scored once in five appearances.

Thompson, who signed a new three-year deal at Elland Road earlier this month, played 10 times last season but has only appeared once in 2012-13.
